A changing collection of beautiful gemstones that I have found around the world - they remind me that the earth's natural resources are finite and we must treasure what we take from it. Each one is cupped in a beaded bezzle that aims to treasure what it holds. No two pieces are the same in this collection.

Based on a traditional beading stitch called Peyote the designs in this collection are full of circles, spirals and ziangles (beaded triangles). I use these shapes in my beadwork to talk about my desires to live in a world that embraces diversity.
Circles express a desire to act inclusively, spirals a desire to continually grow (spiral) connections across our differences and Ziangles a desire to honor diverse pasts (Side 1), presents (Side 2) and perspectives (Side 3) in what we do, think and say.
